EVENT ENTRY GUIDE

The below information is mainly aimed at passenger events at Mallala due to the limited track density allowed. Events at The Bend may share some of these guidelines such as the extra driver entry but generally the larger tracks have higher track densities, therefore not requiring pairing of entries.

We have had some people ask about how our entries for passenger events work and rightly so because it is a little odd. Generally a car and driver combination will spend no more than 3 hours on track due to wear and tear on the car, the amount of fuel used and driver fatige. Based on those figures, Hyperdrive3d have worked out a way to allow drivers to maximise track time for less cost than entering some of the other all day events out there.

Some events charge big money allowing you a full day of driving that you simply wont use. This leads to a big rush of cars on track in the morning then hardly anyone on track at the end of the day.

The way we work our events is by splitting up each of the 12 allocated track spots into two standard entries that share a track pass through the day or multi entries which is an entire track spot that can be shared by groups.

STANDARD ENTRY

A standard entry is recommended for most single driver & car entries but can also work with two people sharing a car. The two drivers will share a track pass allowing one or the other to rotate on and off the track as they please for the entirity of the day. In cases where there is less than 12 cars on track, we will allow both drivers on track at the same time with or without a track pass. By using this setup we have found that you get a lower price per driver and still allow a minimum of 4 hours track time in the day.

MULTI ENTRY

If you have a group of people who all want to enter the event, we have the option of a multi entry to cover your needs. A multi entry is effectively a complete track spot which can be shared between as many cars and drivers as you want. A multi entry is recommended for two or more drivers & cars but can also work with a single driver if wanting to simulate an endurance style drive. The two or more drivers will share a track pass allowing one of the group to rotate on and off the track as they please for the entirity of the day. In cases where there is less than 12 cars on track, we will allow all drivers on track at the same time with or without a track pass. With a multi entry we can also pair you with other drivers in different track spots allowing you and your group to drive together on track more often.

EXTRA DRIVER

If you know someone that has already entered an event and you would like to have a drive but not keen to do a full day then you can enter as an extra driver of an existing entry. This allows you to take part in the event as a driver by sharing the existing entry's track time. You will have access to everything a standard entry does including timing and passengers, your just not paying for the track time as it has already been purchased through the main driver.
